Working Group Textile Finishing (AKV)
Raw textiles must undergo finishing before they are ready for use after dyeing, printing or laminating. Mechanical, chemical and thermal finishing processes are all used for this purpose. These enable the surface and feel to be changed to meet the particular needs of different textile application areas.
The Working Group Textile Finishing serves the specific needs and interests of this branch to which it gives active expression at higher level in the Commissions and Executive.
