The employer and social policy of Swiss Textiles is based on an open and liberal economy. Key elements are the competitive capacity of our members and efforts toward a constructive social partnership.

One of Switzerland’s greatest strengths as a workplace is its smoothly functioning and flexible labour market. This needs to be maintained in the future and must not be allowed to be restricted by rigid regulations. Two further important aspects that we are constantly keeping an eye on are the attractiveness of Switzerland as a workplace and the preservation of business-friendly conditions for small and medium-sized companies in the textiles and clothing industry. Furthermore, the free movement of persons and maintaining the bilateral agreements with the EU are essential factors for our export-oriented industry.
