Jakob Schlaepfer wins PV Award 2009
Created by Première Vision, the World’s Premier fabric show ™, the PV Awards are
aimed at distinguishing and rewarding textile excellence. The second edition of the PV Awards will take place in September 2010.
4 Prizes will be awarded:
- The Grand Jury Prize for the most exceptional fabric
- The Handle Prize for the most astonishing fabric for its behaviour and handle
- The Innovation Prize for the most intelligent fabric
- The Imagination Prize for the boldest fabric.
The suspense is over. The four winning fabrics have been chosen and the companies who produced them revealed :
- The Grand Jury Prize 2009 is awarded to the Italian weaver, Ratti.
- The Handle Prize is awarded to the Japanese Showa.
- The Innovation Prize is awarded to the Japanese Iwanaka.
- As to The Imagination Prize, it is awarded to the Swiss Jakob Schlaepfer.
The Swiss Textile Federation congratulates Jakob Schlaepfer.
