Testex opens Vietnam office

The Zurich-based testing and certification institute Testex has opened a subsidiary in the capital city of Vietnam according to a press release. With this, it will be able to directly provide its services for textile quality control locally.

Testex sees great potential for the textile industry in Vietnam. Many of TESTEX’s customers from other Asian countries are increasingly producing and investing in Vietnam. The clothing and textile industry already accounts for 16 percent of the country’s gross domestic product.

Van Pham has been named as the Country Manager for Vietnam. According to the information provided, she has years of experience in the areas of compliance, certification, and quality assessment in the textile industry. In particular, Van Pham hopes to drive forward Testex’s engagement in health, safety, and sustainability.
